Northern forests
Spruce, pine and birch make up most of the northern forest. In these pictures it appears in every season and light: snow-coated spruces in the blue hour, crown snow on a hilltop, a reindeer among birches, an old-growth stand hung with lichen, a pine heath at sunset and a road seen from above. Tree trunks are reliable guides in rotate mode — they almost always stand vertical.
