Northern lights
Revontuli is the Finnish word for the aurora. It means “fox fires”, from a folk tale in which an arctic fox runs across the fells and its tail sweeps sparks of snow into the sky. These puzzles are night scenes — auroras over still water, sea ice, a snowy fell, a lone cabin and a reindeer herd. Dark skies make them slower to assemble, so they reward patience.
