Snow and frost

Snow pictures are the quietest in the gallery and some of the most demanding to build, because large white areas give the eye little to hold on to. Look for shadows, frost on trunks and the edges of drifts. The set ranges from crown-snow sculptures on a hilltop to a village at dusk, frozen lakes seen from above and an arctic fox.
