About the picture
On a windless night the lake becomes a second sky: the green band of the aurora, its violet upper edge and the scattered stars all appear twice, split by a thin line of spruce and pine. A few smooth boulders break the surface in the foreground — the only places where the reflection is interrupted.
Computer-generated scene; it does not show a specific real place.
How to approach this rotation puzzle
The reflection is the trap here: the lower half repeats the scene upside down on purpose. Find the shoreline first, then turn each sky tile until its shapes match their mirror image below.
Easy to orient: the aurora band, the spruce silhouettes, the boulders in the water. Slow to orient: the night sky, the still water. A tile turned three quarters needs only one turn back — right-click or Shift+Enter.
