Frozen lakes from above

Rotate tiles · 6 to 40 tiles

About the picture

In winter the lakes become the brightest shapes in the landscape: white, smooth and framed by dark forest. Seen from the air, they wind away in a chain toward the horizon, where a low winter sun sits in a pink sky and lays a pale path of light across the ice.

Computer-generated scene; it does not show a specific real place.

How to approach this rotation puzzle

A long horizon runs across the picture. Every tile that touches it must show it level, with sky above and water or ice below.

Easy to orient: the lake outlines, the low sun, the long shadows. Slow to orient: the ice, the dense forest. A tile turned three quarters needs only one turn back — right-click or Shift+Enter.
