About the picture
The river bends through the winter forest under ice and snow, and an old wooden footbridge crosses it with snow piled along its railings. Frost coats the white birch trunks on both banks. The low morning sun comes in from the left, warming one side of every tree and leaving blue shadows on the other.
Computer-generated scene; it does not show a specific real place.
How to approach this jigsaw
Start with the frame: switch on Edges and only border pieces stay on the table. After the frame, build the parts with strong shapes and colour: the footbridge, the white birch trunks, the bend of the river.
Leave for the end: the open snow, the ice. Pieces from these areas look alike, so match them by the shape of their tabs and blanks rather than by colour.
