Islands above the sea fog

Sliding tiles · 3×3 to 6×6

About the picture

Sea fog often forms in calm weather when warmer air moves over cold water, and it can lie in such a thin layer that only the tops of the islands show. Here pine-covered tops rise above fog that the newly risen sun has turned pale gold, gulls cross the gap, and rounded rocks sit in calm water at the front.

Computer-generated scene; it does not show a specific real place.

How to approach these sliding tiles

Sliding puzzles are solved from the top down: finish the first row, then the second, and keep them intact. Top rows of this picture: the pale sky.

Tiles with clear detail are easy to recognise by eye: the island tops, the seabirds, the granite rocks. Where tiles look alike, switch on the numbers (the # button) — the gap always ends in the bottom-right corner.
